Our most popular rug! These gorgeous jute rugs are hand made to order by our wonderful rug maker in Jaipur, India. They are hand woven and stitched to ensure extra toughness, and finished with a scallop detail and coloured trim.
These rugs are the perfect way to add a fun rug to your decor without polarising the style of the whole room as patterned rugs tend to do. Their low-profile finish means they can’t flatten out anymore in high traffic areas and are much less of a trip hazard compared to other styles.

To keep your jute rug looking its best, regular care is key. Start by vacuuming it frequently, using a vacuum without a beater bar to gently remove dirt and debris from both sides. If you spill something on the rug, be sure to blot it immediately with a clean, dry cloth, avoiding excessive water as jute is sensitive to moisture. A mild soap mixed with water can be used for spot cleaning, but always blot dry afterwards.
It’s also a good idea to rotate your rug every few months to ensure even wear and to prevent any fading from sunlight exposure. Since jute is a natural fibre, try to avoid placing the rug in direct sunlight to maintain its colour. Adding a rug pad underneath will help prevent slipping, add extra cushioning, and protect the floor beneath.
